Hope Glynn has been one of our country’s leading hunter trainers and riders for the past 20 years and has worked her way into the top 10 derby riders for money won in the United States. Alongside her husband Ned Glynn who has had much success of his own, together they own and operate Sonoma Valley Stables in Petaluma, CA. Hope won the Horseman of the Year Award from the CPHA, The Arthur Hawkins award of Excellence in Hunters, the Lorraine Lorimer Award Recipient for Leading Professional Rider for the PCHA, and was inducted into the Equus Hall of Fame for Sonoma County in 2013. Her further accomplishments include winning the inaugural $30,000 West Coast Hunter two years in a row, a second-place finish in the $500,000 HITS Hunter Prix finals in Saugerties, NY and a third-place finish in the $100,000 USHJA derby finals in Lexington, KY. She has won numerous USHJA International Derbies and has trained and ridden countless horses and ponies to USEF Horse of the Year Awards. In 2017, Hope won the $50,000 USHJA International Derby at Desert Circuit Wk. 8. In addition to her own success, Hope has trained junior and amateur hunter riders to championships across the country including Devon, Coachella, Upperville, Capital Challenge and the entire California Circuit.
