Sandy Ferrell is currently one of the top hunter riders in the country. She splits her riding between Bernville, Pennsylvania and Wellington, Florida. Her talent as professional rider and trainer has helped her to produce numerous championships in the hunter ring. Sandy’s prosperous career spurred her to create Royall Show Hunters Inc, where she specializes in taking horses to the top levels of the sport. In 2008 Sandy was named World Champion Professional Hunter Rider. She currently is showing Krista and Alexa Weisman’s Showman, 9 year old Westfalen gelding. Thanks to Sandy he was 1st Year Green Hunter Champion and Grand Green Hunter Champion at the 65th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse show in 2010. Showman was inducted in the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame and earned the title Horse of the Year for 2010. In 2011, Sandy was Co-Grand Hunter Champion and Leading Hunter Rider at the 2011 Capital Challenge Horse Show.


Lauren Sprieser is a ranked USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist based in Marshall, Virginia. Since beginning her international career in 2003, Lauren earned Team Bronze and Team Gold at the North American Young Rider Championships before breaking into the Grand Prix ring. Lauren opened both Sprieser Sporthorse and a state of the art dressage training facility called Clearwater Farm where she rides and trains. She's qualified three horses for the USEF Brentina Cup National Championships for Young Adults at Grand Prix, including a win in the Young Rider Grand Prix test aboard Clairvoya in 2009. Lauren looks forward to campaigning her Ellegria, a 10 year old Westfalen Mare and Victorious, 9 year old NAWPN-Harness gelding for the 2012 Olympic Selection Trials. www.laurensprieser.com


Kelly Sult is an event rider from Erie, PA. She is currently competing at the advance, Intermediate, and Preleminary level. Her greatest accomplishments so far have been riding at the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day 4* four times and placing 14th in 2008. In 2009 she was the USEA Adult Amateur Champion and Adult Advanced Amateur. She has since turned Professional. In 2011 she has placed 2nd in Advance division at Southern Pines, and won numerous Intermediate and Preliminary divisions at Sporting Days, Full Gallop, Lost Hounds, Hunters Run. She is competing OTTB, Hollywood, Montgomery and Queen of Hearts. She is ranked in the top 50 riders with USEA.


Callan Solem trains and competes at top-level hunters and jumpers out of Callan Solem Show Stables in Chester Springs, PA. She has piloted to the win in numerous Grand Prix events up and down the East Coast including HITS Culpeper, HITS Ocala, and HITS Saugerties, also Fairfield, and Old Salem. She has competed internationally, with much success as well, in Brazil, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, and Spruce Meadows in Canada and was a member of the winning 2005 Super League Team. She has also earned tricolors from Devon to Indoors in the professional hunter divisions. She won the 2011 $40,000 HITS Culpeper, VA Grand Prix on Magic Cruise, a 10-year old Selle Francais Mare while also placing 2nd on VDL Torlando, a 10-year old Royal Dutch Stallion. Riding longtime mounts Allison and Mianta, Solem achieved the Leading Grand Prix Rider Award following the 2010 Florida series, and her partner, Allison, won the Leading Mare Award after a string of victories and high placings. www.callansolem.com

 

Madeline Schaefer resides in Westminster, Maryland and currently competes on the hunter/jumper circuit. She comes from a family of exceptional riders and is off to a great start with her riding career. Since age 6, Maddie has been active in the small pony hunters and last year moved in to the pony equitation division. Already she has many noted titles at prestigious horse shows including champion at The Devon Horse Show, The Hampton Classic and The Pennsylvania National Horse Show in the small ponies. Currently Maddie trains with both her mother Stacey Schaefer at their family’s Shadow Ridge Farm and Patricia Griffith from Heritage Farms.

 

Haylie Jayne Rolfe is one of the country’s top young professionals who has earned top accolades in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. She turned professional in 2010 and currently rides and trains at her family’s establishment, Our Day Farm. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she rode on their NCAA Equestrian Team helping them to win three national titles, four SEC titles, and win the Individual National Title in Equitation Over Fences in 2009. In 2007, she was the winner of the $50,000 Wachovia Grand Prix at the Showplace Spring Spectacular aboard Merlin 269, and she followed it with a win the following year during the $30,000 Showplace Grand Prix aboard Orley. As a junior, she helped win a Prix De States Team Gold Medal at the 2005 Pennsylvania National Horse Show, and claimed the Low Junior Jumper Circuit Championship at the prestigious Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) with Kinda Blue. In the equitation ring, Haylie earned ribbons in every major equitation final, including the reserve championship during the 2006 Washington Equitation Finals. She was the consecutive winner of the ASPCA Maclay Regionals for Region 4 in 2004 and 2005, having also won the Illinois Medal Finals in 2004. Later in 2006, Haylie took home the Christy Conard trophy during WEF after winning the equitation circuit championship. Haylie truly shines in the hunter ring as well, as shown by her four circuit championships garnered at WEF in the Junior Hunter divisions. In 2004, she captured the Washington International Horse Show’s Grand Junior Hunter Championship aboard her talented mount Clementine. Jayne is looking forward to the years to come as she pursues her professional career as one of the nation’s up-and-coming young stars.

Madeline Thatcher is one of the top junior riders in the country, successfully competing in the hunter, jumper and equitation ring with her incredible group of horses from Pony Lane Farm in Bluffdale, Utah. She currently trains with the Jayne Family at Our Day Farm in Elgin, IL, and competes at the top competitions in the nations. She has been riding for 10 years, and the talented 15-year-old has added many top accolades to her name. In the jumper ring she started by claiming the 2009 USEF Pony Finals Gold Medal aboard Ball Mac, and was also the Leading Children’s Jumper Rider for the Illinois Hunter Jumper Association with Kinda Blue and Victor. In 2011, Thatcher was the Low Junior Jumper Reserve Circuit Champion during the prestigious Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) with Manneken Du Coty. She also competed in her first grand prix with Esquilino Bay and Manneken Du Coty. Throughout 2011, Thatcher has won numerous ASPCA Maclay, USEF/Pessoa Hunter Seat Medal, and USET Platinum Performance Talent Search qualifiers, and will be competing at the 2011 ASPCA Maclay National Championship in Lexington, KY. Thatcher has also scored many tricolor awards in the hunter ring, winning the Reserve Small Junior Hunter 15 and Under Horse of the Year title with Capone in 2009. This year, she claimed the $5,000 National Hunter Classic victory with Bella Blue at the Spring Spectacular Horse Show, and has claimed multiple championship awards with Bella Blue, Catch Phrase, Summer Place, and Humor Me to qualify for the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, the Washington International Horse Show, and the Alltech National Horse Show.
